Yay- It's
Aloha Friday! My Aloha Friday question is:
Are you living in your dream home? Are you happy with the place you live? Me? I used to think I could retire in this house we're in now, but honestly I'd love to
sell it!
Hubby and I dream of a house (not a huge house with lots of space to clean) but a medium-sized house with lots of acreage-- enough land to run as fast as you can as far as you can and still have room left.
Land with a natural creek so the guys could fish, and maybe a place to build a little building that I could turn into a store and fill with pastries, cupcakes and all sorts of local artistry- pottery, jewelry, candles and such.
Ahhh, dreams. =)
Head on over to
An Island Life for more Aloha Friday questions and to play.
Have a wonderful weekend!

happy where ever I live as long as I have those I love around me
ReplyDeleteI love our home, but we are going to build our dream home soon. If we can ever agree on a floor plan that is!
ReplyDeleteHeeeeck NO we are not in our dream home. It is a nice home, in a nice neighborhood, but we've got some rental property riff-raff that I can't stand around the corner. (It's amazing what some renters will try to get away with when they think they don't have to follow homeowner's association rules...) Plus all of the lots in our neighborhood are on the small side, not zero lot lines, but close enough. We look forward to moving to something a little bigger than 1,900 square feet (which is what we have now) and with more space between our neighbors. And, not having too much riff-raff around the corner would be a bonus!!! I'm hoping we can sell and move in about five years.
ReplyDeleteNot living in my dream home but very happy with my home.
ReplyDeleteNo...but will be within 5 yrs.
ReplyDeleteI am in the same boat as you. When we bought our house, I thought this was it...we will be here forever! Now, I am not so sure. I love my house, I just do not know if I like my area as much as I thought I did.
ReplyDeleteNope, not even close, but there's always hope.
ReplyDeleteI am in a rental and it is a bit on the old side. I would like to move but it's hard with a dog!
ReplyDeleteI love our house, and it's perfect for our current life. But I know someday we'll need to sell because it's a 2 story and I'm sure the stairs will get to us in our old age. Other than that, it's perfect! Convenient location, 1/3 acre lot, great neighbors, we really can't complain!
ReplyDeleteI've never had a home/house before, so this is a blessing and I have not thought of a dream home, Im just glad to have a place for ourselves to call home that we can pay for while raising our family.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great question. It's definitely not our dream home however we're very grateful for it and is big enough for our family. My dream home needs much more land, preferably enough to have a private runway. :)
ReplyDeleteI am content with our home, dream home not so much it. I am still waiting for my 5 bedroom, with living room and family room, big kitchen with island home.
ReplyDeleteWe moved about a year ago and this is pretty close to a "dream" house. For now at least. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI like our house but (as you know!) we are moving soon. The new house is going to be great--I don't if I'd go so far as calling it my dream house--but it's a cool house and I look forward to getting in there!
ReplyDeleteI am always dreaming of bigger and better, lol, but also very happy with what we have.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have land like you...like you said..Ahhh dreams!
Glad to see you are back! Missed you being around bloggy land:)
dropping by from SITS
ReplyDeleteWe're living in a dream home. There are some things about it that I think I could never live without and then there are the times when I think it's all too much. I'd like to sell and travel. (Maybe that will be the case when the boy goes off to college.)
