... I felt a little restless.
I did a bit of this. And a bit of that.
The plans I intended for the weekend didn't work out.
Do you ever feel like sometimes you'll just never catch up on things you need to do?
I kinda felt crabby about the weekend housework, too.
I wanted to spent the weekend baking or crafting but couldn't swing it.
I did get a bit of some autumn decor up and around the house, though.
And what fruit basket stand isn't complete without some popcorn balls?
{Nicholas really likes them so I pick up a few when I see them.}
I'm not going to procrastinate this week with my housework/errands/etc. so that next weekend I can do a few of the things that I really enjoy doing.
Sounds like a decent plan doesn't it?
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes you might find
You get what you need.

Nice to meet you!
Nicholas has great taste...I love those popcorn balls too. They sell them at Easter too (egg shaped) and I stock up on them. Yum!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I just can't get my groove on for anything yet. This time last year, we'd already taken our holiday family photos, decorated and this year - nada. Not sure what is up but seeing your photos gives me a push to at least get the decorations out. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel, sometimes it feels like I am spinning wheel and never moving forward and actually getting anything accomplished. And I hate spending the weekend catching up on laundry, even if it's because I spent all Friday at the apple orchard.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya sista! lol. Drizzy bleh weekend. Love the popcorn ball idea, very cute! Now I suppose I should go clean something. :(
ReplyDeleteI often feel that way on the weekends...or just any day really!
ReplyDeletevisiting you from SITS--have a great day!
Beautiful decorations! Which reminds me, I still need to blog about what I did in my own house. Oops.
ReplyDeleteYour decorations look great...I still need to get mine out. I was thinking maybe tonight. It really doesn't take that long to do but for some reason I am not feeling it yet.
ReplyDeleteLove your decorations! I think Nicholas has great taste! The popcorn balls look Halloweeny and scrumptious! Could you send one through the computer? ;) And they are even on the appropriate rack! Above the healthy apples and bananas! ;}
ReplyDeleteI think there was something going around that week...I felt the same way! Maybe it's the transition from summer to Fall.
ReplyDeleteI love your decorations! I'm always inspired by photos of your home. Happy almost weekend, Jen!
