Aloha Friday! Vacation?

Photobucket

Yay!! It's Aloha Friday! My Aloha Friday question is:

Any vacations planned for this spring/summer?

No big vacation plans here. We are going to rent a cabin in northern Michigan (off of Lake Huron) mid-summer. Otherwise, we don't have anything else planned. Hubby mentioned taking some of our summer weekends and visiting the lighthouses we have here in Michigan. Sounds good to me. =)

Any big or small vacation plans?

Head on over to An Island Life for more Aloha Friday questions and to play.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Haven't thought about it yet. It's been too slow of a spring around here.

  6. YES! Finally! Our 3 kids' birthdays fall in May, June and July. This year, instead of having 3 huge birthday parties, we're going to Disneyland and spending a week in and around Anaheim/LA. Our oldest has been there, but this will be the first time for the 2 girls.

  15. We have never taken a family vacation, other than to see family. I would love to, but it's not in the budget. We will go to our families' cottage on Lake Michigan this summer. I love it there and haven't been in years. The sad part is that it will be for a memorial for my grandmother who spent nearly every summer of her life there, some 94 years!

  19. i am not sure. we should stay home and save money b/c we're going to disney in december. my mom's boss owns a beach house in sc and she gets it for free for a week in may and a week in august. so we'll probably go down for a weekend both times.

I'm just getting around to catching up with everyone. I wanted to say thanks so much for your sweet words about my uncle. It meant a lot to me!

  20. Your plans sounds fun! I love the idea of visiting lighthouses. We don't have any plans, really, other than going to BlogHer in Chicago in July and staying a day or two longer to explore the city.
