TGIF! It's Aloha Friday!
My Aloha Friday question is:
Are you a country girl or a city girl?
I'm more of a city girl. Although, I'd love to buy some land in the future and try my hand at being a country girl. =)
Head on over to An Island Life for more Aloha Friday questions and to play.

City girl
ReplyDeleteHey!! I'm from Michigan too!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say a country girl! Grew up in the country and am kinda in the country right now. (We're out, but still in a subdivison)
I would love to buy a house someday with a few acres so we wouldn't have any close neighbors.
DEFINATELY a country girl! Born and raised...and where I'll stay!
ReplyDeleteI am a country girl. But I do love the city too!
ReplyDeleteAs a child I lived in both. First I grew up in town as a kid and had lots of wonderful friends on my block to play with. Then as a teen we moved to the country onto an Apple orchard. I was a driving teen so it wasn't a big deal and it was nice living out in the country. Today my home is in town but we have 1-1/3 acres so it is some what like living in the country. It is by far the best of both worlds. I just wish we had some neighbor kids for my boys to play with.
ReplyDeleteOh I'm a city girl to the core! I do like the counrty though and enjoy any time spent there--but if I were on Green Acres I would definitely be Eva Gabor!! Or was is Zsa Zsa? No Eva!
ReplyDeleteCan I be a little of both? Never having genuinely lived in a city, or the country for that matter, there are aspects of both which I like :)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to say I'm a lot like your comment....a city girl but would love to go country some day in the future. I come from a small town so country life used to be a lot familiar and it always feels good to go back for a visit. But, at this stage in my life I'm definitely in love with city life!
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm a little of both. Not really in the country, not really in the city. I think I'd definitely want to move into the city once the kids are grown up though. Love the new holiday look!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely more of a city girl. Of course the only item I do not like about that is the traffic that goes along with it.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a city girl. My hubby would love a few acres in the country eating from the land.
ReplyDeleteI have to say i'm a little bit of both! I love living in a city like Jacksonville b/c it's an up-and-coming "Big" city and has a lot of the "Big City" feel with a lot of country in it as well. :) I love my name brand/dressy stuff...going to wine bars and museums, but then I also love my jeans and tank tops w/flip flops and going four-wheeling! :) I'm just well rounded I guess. HAHAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm a bit of both - I'd rather live in the country but I like quick access to the city.
ReplyDeleteI was born and raised in the country but I am a City girl!

Born & raised for a little bit in the country. Have lived in some major US & European cities so thought I was ready for the country. I'm not! Come save me! Please! Of course it could just be the part of country that I'm in. (back of beyond, beyond!)
ReplyDeletei'm not sure what i am... i live in the country and enjoy where i live... but i love the hussle and bussle, the lights, noise, smells (*some of them at least) of the city. i guess i'm a country girl that likes to visit the city!! :)
ReplyDeletegreat question! :)
this is my first time to your blog... i like it here.
your children are beautiful... well beautiful and handsome i guess i should say!!
i'm going to add you to my blog roll if that is okay with you.
have a great day!
xoxo
City!
ReplyDeleteThere are parts of me that would like both, but when it really boils down, I'd have to say I'm a city girl!
ReplyDeleteI'm neither. lol.. I'm more of an island girl.. hahaha... Like to visit both city and country, but couldn't live in either... gotta have my water...
ReplyDeleteI am a city girl!!! Although, I have never lived in the country, so I cannot completely throw that out the window, but I dont think I would like it. I like having everything conviently around me so I dont have to drive far.
ReplyDeleteMore of a BEACH girl....grew up at the shore...though I now live in the Country...so I guess that's what I turned into.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog header...what font is that -- love it!
Is there a middle? lol I don't like the country or the city lol But then again maybe that's because my parents moved us so many times growing up that.. I am confused lol
ReplyDeleteTotal country girl that was raised in the big city (Ft. Worth Texas). I can fish with the best of them and shop with the best of them. Live in the country (and plan to stay) but visit the city a lot because thats where most of my family lives.
ReplyDeleteI'm a country girl that likes living in the city. Does that even make sense?
ReplyDeleteSuburbs girl? I don't want to live IN the city, but I want to be about 15 minutes away from it. :)
ReplyDeleteI was raised in the city but have lived in the country since I was 15. I think I'd like to live in the city again. I hate having to drive a half hour just to get to Wal-Mart or K-Mart and an hour to Target or the mall.
ReplyDeleteCity girl!
ReplyDeleteI love to visit the country but I don't think I'd love living there!
I'm a country girl. I love everything about it! Somehow driving by cows makes my day;)
ReplyDeleteCountry, country, country!
ReplyDeleteCity girl. But would also love to experience country life once in a while.
