Aloha Friday! Ghosts

Photobucket

It's Aloha Friday Yay!!

My Aloha Friday question is:

Have you ever seen a ghost or had a ghostly encounter?

I woke very early one morning, to something white floating above my bed. I pressed my entire body as deep into the mattress as I could, as I just lay there paralyzed (from being scared) watching this thing hover. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, I looked over to hubby, shook him hard, and said, 'Oh my God- Jay, I think it's a ghost!' I looked back over and the white floaty thing was gone. Thank you sweet Jesus.

If hubby had been able to see it, now that would have been seriously spoooooky!

It looked very similar to this.
I still question whether or not I just imagined it. Photobucket

Head on over to An Island Life for more Aloha Friday questions and to play.

Happy Halloween!

  1. Same question as me, no I have not but I do believe. Living in Maui made me believe even more, very spiritual there.
Stop by my Aloha Friday for a Halloween question, no candy needed!

  2. I've never seen one but many of us truly believe that a friend of ours was haunting our community theatre for awhile. He was a member there and after he died, people could hear toilets flushing, hammering, etc when no one else was in the theatre. His wife even said she heard him come home at night and put his keys on the dresser!

  4. No and not really sure. Hubby just went on a ghost walk the other night. I am not sure what they did (he is still away). It should be interesting to hear more about.

    Happy Halloween!

No--I have never seen a ghost--but I've had some "ESP" type situations!

  6. That's spooky. I don't think I've ever seen a ghost but there's been times when I don't feel like I'm alone.

    Happy Halloween!

  7. Oh that movie scared the crap out of me. I was pregnant with my first when we saw it in the theater. I didn't sleep well for a week.

I've never seen a ghostly encounter, but sometimes I feel things touch me that aren't there. I think it's my mom.

  9. I blogged about my psychic reading earlier this year. I was told that my deceased grandparents are with me and my son as protectors--and i've often "felt" they were with us.

  10. I have never seen a ghost, but after my dad died, there was a morning where I think he came and checked on me. I woke up to feel someone laying there holding me. I was between awake and sleeping...you know that sleepy twilight time. I could hear him talking to me. I remember thinking "Oh dad! I missed hearing your voice". I knew if I opened my eyes it would be gone. I didn't want it to be over, but as I became more and more conscience, it was gone.

  11. I haven't, but that picture would have put the question in my head if I saw it

  12. Wow, that is scary.... I would have freaked out on that one.

I have never personally had an encounter but my aunt lived in a house that had a lot of really weird things happen. They believed the weird came from a previous owner who hung herself in the house.

  13. that's the thing about my ghostly encounters, i have doubts that it's just my mind playing tricks on me ...
